Ceremony Inspired by the Wedding Scene from Twilight

Brandi and Kevin came to Sapphire Events planning a destination wedding with 75 guests. They wanted a specific vision for their New Year's Eve nuptials, describing the vision for their ceremony as one inspired by the wedding scene from the Twilight movie. Loving an out-of-the-box challenge, we were excited to rise to the occasion at Beauregard-Keyes house, the ceremony location which featured a triple archway with only a few scant vines that would be the perfect framework for an extravagant ceremony backdrop. We also decorated the fountain in the middle of the intimate courtyard with a lush cascade of hydrangea and dense candle light encircling the structure, which added to the drama of the bride's processional at dusk. After the incredibly personal and tearful ceremony, the newlyweds lead a traditional second line parade through the streets to the reception at the haunted Muriel's Restaurant in the French Quarter. Ending the night with a bang, the couple took in the riverfront fireworks display to ring in the new year with their loved ones before continuing the party into the streets.
